October Book Report
Read your favorite Fall or Halloween story: fiction, non-fiction, scary, or mystery! Complete the Who? , What?, Where?, and How? report on your favorite book. Look at the questions below to help you with each section. Then, write a summary of the book.

PRESENTATIONS: Friday, October 30, 2009
Each child will share his or her book report orally. They will be graded on their presentation of the completed project.
WHO?
Who is the main character?
What is he/she like?
Does he/she have a problem to solve?
Was the problem solved? How was it solved?
WHERE?
Where does the story take place? (setting)
Describe it completely.
WHAT?
What happens in the story? Summarize the main ideas.
HOW?
How does the story end?
Does it end differently than you expected?
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why?
Please read the rubric under the link below with your child. Sign your names at the bottom of the page.
Return the rubric to school along with the book report
on or before Friday,October 30th.
The rubric will be used during the
oral book report presentations.
